Why this checklist matters
A smoother mobile app launch is more likely when product, engineering, design, privacy, support, and store-review materials are checked before submission.
Technical checklist
- Confirm the bundle identifier or package name, signing, release configuration, version, and build number.
- Test critical flows on real iOS and Android devices.
- Review crash logs, performance, network failures, offline behavior, and permission prompts.
- Prepare TestFlight, internal testing, or closed-testing instructions.
- Verify production API endpoints, secrets management, and release monitoring.
Product and listing checklist
- Prepare the app name, subtitle or short description, full description, screenshots, category, age rating, and release notes.
- Confirm that store metadata describes only features available in the submitted build.
- Provide monitored support contact information.
- Confirm that promotional claims, trials, subscriptions, and prices are clearly disclosed.
Privacy and account checklist
- Publish an app-specific privacy policy that matches the released app and its third-party SDKs.
- Keep App Store privacy details and Google Play Data safety answers consistent with actual collection and use.
- Provide an external deletion URL when required.
- If users can create accounts, provide the required in-app account-deletion path and describe any retained data.
Review checklist
- Supply a working demo account and complete review instructions when login is required.
- Explain non-obvious hardware, location, account, or subscription requirements.
- Verify that reviewers can access every feature needed to evaluate the submitted build.
- Recheck support, privacy, and deletion URLs from a signed-out browser.
