Privacy Policy
How Idle Cat Labs LLC handles information through its website, business services, support channels, and published apps.
Effective date: July 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Idle Cat Labs LLC handles information in connection with this website, business inquiries, software development and consulting services, support requests, and apps or software products that link to this policy. An app-specific privacy policy will supplement or replace this policy when a product has different data practices.
Information you provide
We may receive your name, email address, company information, project details, support messages, files, billing contact information, privacy requests, and other information that you choose to provide. Please do not send passwords, complete payment-card details, government identification, or other sensitive information unless we specifically request it through an appropriate secure channel.
Website and technical information
Our hosting, security, and infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps, device information, and security logs. We use this information to deliver the website, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and maintain security. We do not currently operate advertising trackers on this website.
Payments and business records
If you pay for services, a payment processor such as Stripe may collect and process payment information under its own privacy terms. We may receive limited transaction details such as payer identity, billing contact, amount, payment status, card brand, and last four digits. We retain invoices, contracts, and accounting records as reasonably necessary for business and legal purposes.
How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and provide proposals, services, and support.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve websites, apps, and systems.
- Process authorized payments and maintain accounting records.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and payment disputes.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, and contractual obligations.
Service providers and disclosures
We may use providers for hosting, infrastructure, authentication, analytics, communications, source-code collaboration, payment processing, crash reporting, customer support, and AI-enabled functionality. They may process information only as needed to provide their services or as otherwise permitted by their terms and applicable law. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transaction.
App privacy and store disclosures
Each released app should have a public app-specific privacy page describing the data it actually collects, its purposes, third-party SDKs, retention, and deletion options. Those statements must remain consistent with the app's behavior, App Store Connect privacy details, Google Play Data safety section, in-app notices, and account-deletion flow.
Data retention
Retention depends on the purpose and context. We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, support, security, accounting, taxes, dispute resolution, contractual obligations, backups, or applicable law. We may retain minimal records of a deletion request and information that cannot reasonably be isolated from protected backups until those backups cycle.
Your choices and requests
You may request access, correction, deletion, or other available privacy action for information we reasonably control. We may verify your identity and may limit a request when retention is legally required or necessary for security, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal claims. For app account deletion, use the applicable app deletion page or our Data Deletion page.
International processing
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Data protection rules may differ from those in your location.
Children
This general website and our business services are not directed to children under 13. A product intended for children will use product-specific disclosures and controls appropriate to that product and applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, providers, or legal obligations. The effective date above identifies the current version.
